If you have been diagnosed with celiac disease or are allergic to gluten, you need some gluten free recipies. People often worry that having to give up foods containing gluten means they will have to give up good food altogether, but there are actually many gluten free receipes for delicious foods you can still enjoy. Gluten Free Receipes
Gluten Free Baked Brie
This is one of the best gluten free recipies for appetizers we’ve found. It’s so easy to make. Serve it with wine and fruit for a cocktail party or serve with other appetizers at any event.
Place Brie in a baking pan. Spread melted butter over the top of the Brie and then top with sliced almonds. Bake at 350 degrees for ten minutes, then cover with foil and bake for another 15 minutes (covering with foil prevents the almonds from burning).
Mix the molasses and balsamic vinegar in a small bowl and spread over a serving plate. Place the baked Brie on the plate and serve.
Gluten Free Pancakes
When you’re collecting gluten free receipes, you need a good pancake recipe. Kids will love these.
Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well. Add eggs, water, and vegetable oil, and stir well. Spoon batter onto a hot griddle and cook until bubbles form, then flip and continue cooking until bottoms of pancakes are golden brown.
Sweet Corn Cake
This is one of our favorite gluten free receipes. Serve it as an alternative to cornbread with any meal.
Beat butter in mixing bowl until creamy. Add in masa harina and water and beat until smooth. Puree corn in a blender or food processor. Then stir corn and cornmeal into the masa harina mixture.
In another bowl, combine sugar, baking powder, salt, and heavy cream. Stir well. Then add that to the corn mixture and stir well. Pour mixture into a lightly greased eight-inch square pan.
Place pan inside a larger baking pan that is filled with about ¾ inch hot water. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes.
Easy Gluten Free Peanut Butter Drop Cookies
This is one of our favorite gluten free recipies because it’s so quick and easy, and these cookies are absolutely delicious. Serve with tall glasses of cold milk.
Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir well. Drop by the teaspoonful onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for eight minutes.
